How much does Paintform cost?
Paintform is free to download and paint with. An optional one-time $9.99 Pro unlock adds unlimited layers, watermark-free time-lapse and transparent export. No subscription, no account, no ads.
Which platforms does it run on?
Paintform is a native macOS app, and that's our focus — we're building the best possible Mac drawing app rather than spreading thin across platforms.
Is there anything to pay or unlock?
Only Pro. The app is free — brushes, Liquify, Puppet Warp, guides, references and export are all free (up to 3 layers). A one-time $9.99 Pro unlock adds unlimited layers, watermark-free time-lapse and transparent export. No subscription. If something isn't working, just email us and we'll help sort it out.
Where are my drawings saved?
On your device. Paintform saves in its native
.pform format to the location you choose, and you can export to PNG. Nothing is uploaded to us — your work stays with you. Keep your own backups of important pieces.Do you collect my data?
No. The app works fully offline and collects no personal data — no analytics, no tracking, no ads. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
